APPLE B UGC NET JRF ACADEMY – CUET – COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST(UG)
Central universities remain as a dream for many students in India who aspires to do their higher studies in country’s best institutions. The attractions include good quality education, highly qualified teachers, student community from various parts of the country, scope for exploring different cultures, so on and so forth. Though many dreams it, only a few could attain it. Attending separate entrance test for each and every University makes the entire process hectic and students find it really difficult to prepare for several exams in a very short span of time. Here comes the significance of Common University Entrance Test (UG), a single-window opportunity to students seeking admission to the Central Universities (CUs) across the country for various Undergraduate Programmes.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET)
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connections with the Universities. A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Central Universities. For appearing in the CUET (UG) there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12th /equivalent examination or are appearing in the current year irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) – examination.
